Ministries

As we embark on the replanting of Garner Advent Christian Church, we remain committed to meeting the changing needs of our community while living out the unchanging gospel of Christ. This mission shapes our hearts, guides our actions, and unites our efforts during this season of renewal. Through it, we discover our identity, build meaningful connections, and find purpose together. Every step we take is focused on connecting people with God and helping them grow in their walk with Him.

KIDS MINISTRY

Our goal is to help your children experience Jesus and build deep spiritual roots in a safe, fun, and nurturing environment. We believe that parents are the most important piece in a child’s spiritual life.

K–3rd grade meets weekly in our kid’s space on Sunday mornings at 10:30 am. For those younger than kindergarten, we have a nursery.

We're located halfway down the main long hallway in the church. Stop by and get a tour from one of our trusted volunteers.

LIFE GROUPS

Life groups are the lifeblood of our church ministry. Life groups are small groups of 8–12 people who meet regularly in the homes of church members to grow spiritually together, share their lives, and encourage one another. Life group meetings are typically 1.5–2 hours in length which incorporate: Discussion-based bible study, interpersonal sharing, prayer, and food. The strength of life group ministry is the opportunity to develop Christian community in an intimate setting.

WOMEN'S MINISTRY

All Ladies are invited to...

The Sunday Supper Club returns Sunday, February 1st at 6:00pm at GACC. Bring your supper or snack for a time of fellowship and food before we begin our Bible study each week, We will work through the book "The Cost of Control" by Shannon Hodde Miller. Each session will also include a short video from the author about how control influences our lives and how trusting God is the answer to our struggles with control.

The Spring Ladies Retreat is scheduled for April 17-19th at Camp Dixie. It will be a weekend for fellowship, worship, fun, rest, and abiding in God's presence. Registration is due March 1st. We hope that you will plan to attend and bring a friend.
