If you're interested in serving, you can apply online. If you're interested in serving on more than one volunteer team, you'll need to fill out an application for each individual team. GACC Ministry Opportunities​​

• Welcome Team: The Welcome Team at Garner Advent Christian Church is focused on creating a welcoming and nourishing environment for worshippers and guests. This team ensures that all attendees feel valued and comfortable, whether during regular services, special events, or community gatherings. If you enjoy meeting people and offering warm hospitality, this would be a great service opportunity for you.

• Helps Team: The Helps Team is focused on providing physical support for the ministry of GACC. This team offers assistance in a variety of behind the scenes ways. This includes setting up tables and chairs, cleaning up after events, and providing assistance to members as needed. If you enjoy helping without the fanfare, this would be a great service opportunity for you.

• Prayer Team: The Prayer Team at Garner Advent Christian Church is devoted to supporting the ministry through the power of prayer. Our prayer warriors lift up every aspect of GACC’s work—including outreach, worship services, church leaders, spiritual growth, and reaching those who don’t yet know Christ. If you believe that prayer can make a real difference, this ministry opportunity is a meaningful way to serve and join in what God is doing in our church and community.

• Worship Team: The Worship Team exists to lead God’s people into a spirit of worship that brings honor and praise to Him. This ministry unites instrumentalists and vocalists to create God-glorifying music that enhances our services and draws hearts toward Christ. The Worship Team is currently seeking both instrumentalists (keys, guitar, drums) and vocalists. Although you do not need to be a professional, we aim for excellence in worship as that provides an environment for people to focus on their own worship. 

• Children's Ministry Team: The GACC Children’s Ministry Team helps children build a strong spiritual foundation and experience God’s love. Through teaching, activities, and their example, our leaders guide children in understanding how to have a personal relationship with Jesus. This ministry focuses on helping young hearts learn the basics of Christianity and grow as devoted followers of Christ. If you love children, enjoy teaching or interacting with them, and want to make a lasting impact on their spiritual journey, this is a wonderful way to serve. All team members are required to read and sign a Code of Conduct to ensure a safe and nurturing environment.
